Beijing ended with amazing authority. A production that will forever be remembered as one of the most dynamic games in the history of the Olympic tradition. From the opening ceremonies all the way through the games, and then finishing off with the closing ceremonies, China in fact was an amazing host country that will never be forgotten for it's incredible presentation of the 2008 Summer Olympics. And now we are in the final 18 months of preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver BC, Canada, and things are right on schedule. Almost all of the venues are virtually ready to take on their participants. Not failing to mention how set and excited the city and it's people are for the long awaited arrival of the world. For those that have not been fortunate enough to travel to Vancouver, these Olympic games will turn Vancouver into an amazing tourist destination more so than Vancouver already is. Vancouver is known around the world as being consistently ranked in the top five most livable cities in the world and all for good reason. The scenic beauty is first and foremost some of the most incredible in the world. How many city's in the world are you aware of that that on any given day during the winter months you can head up one of the three local mountains in the morning and indulge in world class skiing, come down the mountain for lunch and then head to golf course and play 9 holes, and if your even really in the mood after your 9 hole round of golf you can head out in a boat and drop a line for a couple of hours. That's right, skiing, golf and fishing all in one day, all not even twenty minutes from each other. Vancouver is incredibly diverse in it's culture. There are many different nationalities that all call Vancouver home and that's what makes it so unique. There isn't a friendlier city in the world. It is very exciting to know that Vancouver will be showcased during these Olympic Games. We are not only hosting the world, but we are inviting the world to come and enjoy this amazing city before, during and after the 2010 Winter Games, as once you've experienced Vancouver in the Winter, you'll surely want to come back and see for yourself what summer is all about.
