The final dates for the Vancouver Paralympics in 2010 have been set. From March 12th - 21st 2010 the World will watch as some of the most inspirational athletes of all time compete for Olympic glory in Vancouver & Whistler during the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.
The opening ceremonies for the 2010 Paralympics Games will be held on March 12th, 2010 at BC Place Stadium in downtown Vancouver. The Paralympic closing ceremony will take place on March 21st, 2010 in Whistler, British Columbia. As for the individual medal presentations, they will be held in Whistler from March 13th through the 20th, 2010 all of which will be taking place in Whistler.
The nightly awards ceremonies will crown the winners of the Alpine and Nordic events and each will be followed by a live performance of some of the worlds finest musical artists.
The 2010 Paralympics in Vancouver & Whistler will showcase the best athletes from around the globe with disabilities. These athletes will show more heart and determination unlike any other and they are sure to put on a great display of desire.
